а чего тут подробнее - выше по обсуждению анонс я давал - для полного
счастья не хватает qinternet (это гуя под smpppd для дозвона). Вкраце что
такое smpppd - это некий метадемон над pppd, может управляться через
сокет, т.к. кроме сокета имеет некий интерфейс управления, упрощающий
написание всевозможных userspace звонилок, работающих без суидности. Также
имеет программу рисования статистики дозвона (типа когда звонил, скока
скачал). Например, вот так:

В SuSE, откуда я его и брал, начальная конфигурация провайдеров и
интерфейсов делается через YaST, у нас пока руками (впрочем, при желании
можно написать тулзу для acc). smpppd умеет обслуживать не только dialup
соединения, но и pptp и adsl (pppoe), но это я для ALTLinux не затачивал,
т.к. проверять не на чем.
