Странная проблема. Поднял ppp0 согласно инструкции в
pptp-client. Все немедленно и отлично поднялось. Интерфейс
ppp0 появился, пинги идут куда угодно. DNS работает. rout
-n правильный. А tcp - нет. Висит браузер и не реагирует.
Совсем. Сервер там в Перово Windows. А клиент у приятеля в
системе - из Мастера 2.4 свежеустановленного.
Потом заметил странное: сконектился telnet www.ru 80,
соединился, два ввода - отваливается без единого байта в
ответ. В логах ничего. И тут заметил, что если telnet и
подождать - долго, пять минут и больше, а потом два enter,
выдал мне www.ru ответ, что неправильно сформирован запрос.
А что неправильно, неясно.
Ссылка там есть на hping2 для тестирования не-icmp, но
примера, как им пользоваться, нету.
Нигде в (русскоязычной) сети описание такой проблемы не
нашел. Все пишут - пинг идет, значит, все в ажуре, сеть
настроена. Но наши перовские провайдеры похитрее будут.
Подскажите, пожалуйста. что это было, что читать-крутить?
