Это занятие я до сих пор не забросил, т.е. на этой машине с
одинаковым удобством работаю, как в сегодняшнем Сизифе, так и
сегодняшнем gentoo. Но вот сравнений по производительности не
делал. Да, честно говоря, и не знаю, как сделать это корректно.
Но готов сделать любой конкретный тест.
На gentoo при загрузке машина просто взлетает, но это ничего не
значит, так как набор сервисов не одинаков.
Пробовал новейшие якобы настольные версии NetBSD и PC-BSD. Ох и
далеко им до Линукса (по критерию настольности, т.е. готовности
работать сразу после установки).
