Привет всем! Вобщем поставил вмварь 5.0.0 build-13124. Вопросы такие:
1) Не загружается Windows XP Pro (находится на физическом диске). Жму power
machine, VMWARE мне выдает вопрос/предупреждение

Select OK to continue, Cancel to power off.
Жму OK. Далее пошла загрузка - Lilo, выбираю Windows далее появляется
заставка...и - синий экран смерти затем сразу перезагрузка. Затем иду на
страницу http://www.vmware.com/info?id=49. Из своего скромного занния
английского понимаю что пишется то что лучше размещать NT/2000/XP на
виртуальном диске чем на физическом (больше ничего ;) Скажите как исправить?
На виртуальном диске размещать не получится, просто свободного места на диске
у меня всего 900 мб.
2) Установка windows ME на виртуальный диск. (Создаю новую виртуальную машину
Windows ME). Жму Power Machine, далее идет загрузка из загрузочной дискеты ->
setup.exe. Выдает ошибку:
Cannot create a temporary directory.
If you have HPFS or NTFS installed on your hard drive, you will need to create
an MS-DOS boot partition to set up Windows
Вот здесь я просто в замешательстве. Я ведь использую виртуальный диск, причем
здесь NTFS? Как исправить?
3) Как установить VMWare tools? Когда виртуальная машина выключена, пункт меню
VM->Install VMWare tools неактивно(disabled), а когда запускаю машину оно
становится активным, нажимаю он мне выдает такое сообщение
You cannot install the VMware Tools package until the guest operating system
is running. If your guest operating system is not running, choose Cancel and
install the VMware Tools package later.
Если я нажму на отмену, пункт меню станет опять неактивным ?!
