Здравствуйте.
Стоит задача запаролить директорию.
Но что-бы я в .htaccess не писАл, хоть deny all.
Все равно пускает.mod_auth есть.
Но дело наверное не в нем.
Неужели apache .htaccess не читает?
И почему.

AllowOverride
или не используйте .htaccess вообще :)
