Кстати, как каталоги организованы в разных ФС?
Знаю, что в ext3 с новыми ядрами и соотв. опцией бинарные деревья, а в
противном случае простой список, или как?
В XFS вроде тоже B-деревья.

Сделал на xfs
for i in {0..1000000}; do touch $i; done
Пока шуршит, о результатах доложу позднее, когда завершится.
