Да, Wavetable на этой карточке есть. Но в драйверах для Linux его
поддержки нет - прежде всего по причине отсутствия нормальной
документации для этих чипов.
Хотя недавно в рассылке alsa-devel что-то по этому поводу пролетало
(Subject: au88x0_synth) - вроде бы пытаются что-то написать.

Это внешний порт MIDI, к которому можно подключить железный
синтезатор.
