прочитайте про технологию chroot где-нибудь, эта команда обновляет
конфигурацию в chroot теми файлами, что лежат вне его.
Т.е. переписывает /var/resolv/etc/resolv.conf , копируя из /etc/resolv.conf
Поэтому руками править в первом не надо, а то второй его затрет.
