вот не могу я поднять печать из cups через самбу на сабж. с подключением
на smb:// проблем нет, проблема в том, что печать выводится чистым
postscript, причем каждая номая строчка имеет отступ от начала
типа
%!PS-Adobe-2.0
%RBINumCopies: 1
%%Pages: (attend)
и далее полно пустых страниц: текст уезжает далеко за края.
тут конечно беда в ppd для этого hp, но беда в том, что это дело мне надо
поднять срочно: для печати через обычный windows вариант по netbios'у у
меня стоит слишком маленькая скорость (печать идёт из другого здания,
подключённого к текщему через adsl. проблема скорости решила бы вопрос, но
это не от меня зависит :(. низкая, потому что тут имеют манеру выкачивать с
другого здания, что забивает канал нафиг. и я не знаю, как печать отличит
от закачки через smb. вот и решил поставить ipp сервачки "там и тут" и
shape'ить скорость между 631-ми портами. и тут - cups не так печатает :((
в общем на изучанение linux printing subsystem со всеми ps, etc вренени
просто нет. + я тут вообще не ориентируюсь.
поэтому вопрос - в чём может быть трабла? не хватает ppd? или фильтр не
тот? куда хоть рыть...
P.S. да, hp подключён к win-машине как hp laserjet 2000. может тут беда...
