В udev игрались? У меня потерянные ссылки тотчас восстановились
после удаления udevd из ntsysv.
# ls -l /dev/cdrom
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Mar 18 22:59 /dev/cdrom ->
cdroms/cdwriter0
# ls -l /dev/cdwriter
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Mar 18 22:59 /dev/cdwriter ->
cdroms/cdwriter0
ls -l /dev/hdc
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Mar 18 22:59 /dev/hdc ->
cdroms/cdwriter0
Модуль cdrom в /etc/modules прописан?
2.6.11-std26-up-alt5
Всё монтируется, читается, пишется, музыка играет. Из dmesg:
hdc: ARTEC WRR-52Z 1.15 20030107, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
