Поставил Master 2.4 на k6-350mhz 128Mb.
Практическая работа крайне затруднена. Машина порядочно притормаживает. Пока
ОО грузится можно в туалет сбегать :) Перезагрузка Х тоже превращается б
борьбу с желанием выключить комп. вообще и больше его не загружать.
Что скажете? Понятно, что машина на корпоративный сервер не тянет :) , но
может дадите советы, как систему "обгрызть"? 98-й сносно работал - по крайней
мере, пару документов в ворде можно было набрать без особых проблем.
И вообще, личное впечатление от Master-а, что какой-то он "тяжеловатый"
что-ли. Впечатление сложилось после установки различных дистров на уже более
мощьной машине. Параллельно стоят Master 2.4 и Sarge на P4-1,7 256Mb. Можно
сказать, что в их "девственном" состоянии - ну как их инсталляторы порешали,
так и встало все. Так вот даже невооруженным глазом как-то видно что Master
помедленнее будет.
Может есть рецепты, как его облегчить?
