Это потому, что на момент выхода master 2.4 была собрана только эта версия.
1.0 была собрана позже и, наверно, лежит в backports.
подключите в /etc/apt/sources.list (.d) репозитарий backports и посмотрите там
(apt-get update).
так же почитайте архивы рассылки backports@
Если нигде нет, напишите тут " у кого есть собранный firefox 1.0 для Мaster
2.4?" ?
Не начинайте с src.rpm, они вам потребуются в очень крайнем случае.
