Действительно, сразу после ухода в "second stage" вставление драйвера руками
помогает. Следущей проблемой оказывается то, что инсталятор в этом случае не
знает о наличии scsi дисков и не пытается на них поставиться, но это можно
обойти добавив какой-нибудь из scsi controllerов, в моем случае это был Intel
Integrated Raid. (Просто его добавление не помогало - не виделись диски).
