Здравствуйте!
Закупил на работу партию новых ИБП APC Back-UPS CS 350 (с защитой
телефонных линий от импульсных помех и все такое + подключение к
компьютеру через usb для управления), установил пользователям на MAC OC
X 10 и Windows 2000/XP соответствующие программы с прилагаемого диска и
решил один поставить себе...
Подключил, просмотрел Сизиф на предмет программы-аналога, нашел nut и
сопутствующие. установил.. Стал читать пояснение к конфигам, включил на
автозапуск сервисы upsd, upsdrv и upsmon. Запустил их (service ***
start). Просмотрел список драйверов и устройств, а также архив community
на предмет настройки nut и прикинул, что мне наверняка нужно прописать в
ups.conf драйвер hidups и порт /dev/usb/hiddev0, что я и сделал...
Затем проверил отклик устройства _название_ups_в конфиге@localhost -
вроде отзывается и дает определенную информацию об устройстве.
Перегружаю, и на моменте подгрузки hotplug'ом usb.rc получаю kernel
panic...
Ядро 2.4.27 wks-up упряжка kudzu и hotplug последняя работающая вместе
(не новые).
Делать нечего - погружаю livecd, монтирую нужный раздел и коммментирую
строчки в ups.conf, гружусь в родную систему без проблем, сдаюсь и
сношу все связанное с nut к такой-то бабушке...
