Есть, конечно. Потому и как минимум 127.0.0.1 приколотил.
Возможно, надо бы отключить и запуск сервиса по умолчанию --
работать с диском ему приходится от root, а privsep по части
сети (да и чрутом) там не пахнет.
Повесьте багу, сделаю как-нить.
А так -- тот же бинарник работает и как standalone test:
trickster:~> sudo hddtemp /dev/hda
/dev/hda: ST380011A: 31°C
