Итак, для ядер 2.4 добавляем
alias char-major-10-134 off в /etc/modules.conf
// и не забываем depmod -a
для ядер 2.6 добавляем
install char-major-10-134 /bin/true в /etc/modprobe.conf

AFAIK сейчас для таких вещей ACPI используется, и вообще IMHO на более-менее
современных машинах от APM одни только проблемы...
