Обращаюсь к профи за помощью.
Есть некое софтверно-хардверное решение являющеся по сути гейтом для
спутниковго интернета. В основе - Linux.
С устройством возникала проблема - оно работает с ip только в пределах одной
подсети. После разговора с support'ом было выяснено, что если поставить
subnet mask 0.0.0.0 - то все работать будет. На мой непросвещенный взгляд это
несколько...гм....некорректно, о чем я и заявил разработчикам. После чего эти
господа требуют от меня ссылку на более - менее авторитетный источник где
написано что такое subnet mask и почему для одного хоста с ip типа
192.168.1.x она не должна быть 0.0.0.0
Вопрос - может кто знает книги какие в электронном виде или на RFC ссылки.....
Заранее спасибо и прошу прощения за сильный off top, дабы не захламлять
