Кто-нибудь победил веб-камеру genius "video camera III"?
Почитал

но проблема осталась...

похоже проблема здесь

при обращении к /dev/video1 xawtv говорит can't open /dev/video1: No
such device, а в dmesg появляется вот это:

У кого-нибудь есть идеи?

Создаётся впечатление, что мешает модуль tuner. Попробуйте выгрузить его
перед загрузкой ov511. И ещё раз убедитесь, что модуль ovcamchip
загружен; именно этот модуль должен привязываться к адресу 0x60 на шине
I2C от ov511.
