На XP Professional точно есть. И работает.
Пользователь (ХРшный) должен быть включен
в группу пользователей теминал-сервера (либо администраторов)
у него должен быть ненулевой пароль,
ну и терминал-сервер должен быть запущен;)
Со стороны клиента ничего не требуется, кроме rdesktop.
У меня работает так -
rdesktop -u $REMOTE_USER -p $HIS_PASSWORD -a 16 -g 1020x742 $REMOTE_HOST
