Корректнее всё-таки dist-upgrade. При upgrade пакеты обновляются "один в
один" (то есть старая версия пакета заменяется новой версией того же
самого пакета), а при dist-upgrade учитываются такие моменты, как
изменение состава пакетной базы (замена одного пакета другим,
разделение/слияние пакетов и прочее в том же духе). Для обновления
дистрибутива из его updates это, скорее всего, не критично, так как там
пакетная база вряд ли может поменяться, но вот если начнёте обновляться
только upgrade'ом из Sisyphus, обязательно найдёте неприятности. Я
обычно делаю либо сразу dist-upgrade, либо, если изменений очень много,
сначала upgrade, а потом dist-upgrade. Но Михаил Шигорин, например,
делать upgrade вообще не советовал, так как, по его словам, upgrade в
его случае приводил к проблемам.

То есть Вы вытаскиваете весь репозиторий Мастера на локальный диск? А
зачем, если есть диски? Но, вообще, правильно, только Вы, как мне
представляется, забыли дописать ещё раздел non-free.
