Не надо смотреть через mc. Файл называется fd0, а плюсик mc приделывает,
чтобы показать, что это блочное устройство. Он еще ко всем каталогам слэш
приделывает, но Вы ведь не думаете, что они у вас все на слэш называются?
Юзайте ls -l.

Вот не надо тут. Лично мне понятнее subfs (хотя пользую я вообще
supermount ;), но только не autofs). Хотя дискеты и прочие флэшки
предпочитаю монтировать все же руками.
