Приветствую всех,
есть у меня видео-карта, не самая свежая - intel 740 AGP 8M,
при работе в X - в случайных местах появляются странные артефакты (квадраты
разного цвета).
Попробовал включить опцию SW_Cursor в XF86Config - никакого эффекта,
переключился обратно на аппаратный курсор, ситуация никак не изменилась.
Этот мерзкий эффект проявляется только в ALT Compact 2.3 и ALT Master 2.4,
с другими дистрибутивами (FC 2, Mandrake 9, 10) и в Win эта карта чувствует
себя прекрасно.
И еще, после выхода из Х-ов есть строка:
Symbol vbefree from module /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/i740_drv.o is
unresolved!
И, соответсвенно, вопрос: как победить? остались еще у кого-нибудь подобные
карты?
