Здравствуйте!
Как говорилось в былые времена, прошу не бить ногами за возможную
очевидность вопроса... Просто с lvm я более или менее освоился, а про
evms только немного слышал и читал на ненашем языке, так что мог что-то
не так понять. А ставить натурные эксперименты с непредсказуемым
результатом на живых машинах не хочется.
Установка в Compact пакетов evms через apt предлагает убить lvm. В
системе имеются lvm-тома (причём на них живёт всё, за исключением корня
и /boot). Вопросы:
1. Станет ли результатом удаления пакета lvm при установке evms потеря
или отключение существующих lvm-томов?
2. Если да, то можно ли, и как, произвести плавную миграцию с одного на
другое без дублирования содержимого нынешних lvm на реальные разделы?
3. В ядре 2.6, насколько я понимаю, сейчас поддерживается evms2. Можно
ли будет, задействовав evms в нынешнем 2.4, работать в одной и той же
файловой системе обоими ядрами? Сейчас с lvm этот номер не проходит ---
при загрузке с 2.6 lvm-тома просто не видны.
