Привет всем!
Насколько я понимаю и читал в рассылке - UP для однопроцессорных
систем и SMP для многопроцессорных. В том числе и для HT-технологии.
Стояло у меня 2.4.26-alt6-up, для эксперимента поставил стандартное
2.4.22-alt17-smp... Процессор - P4 3Gz, HT-технология. При
перекодировании одного и того же DVD-диска с теми же установками
(был сохранен проект DVD-rip) процесс занял примерно столько же времени,
как и на 2.4.26-alt6-up +- 2-3 минуты, что можно не брать во внимание.
Хочу поинтересоваться - для раскручивания HT-технологии нужны некие
дополнительные настройки и подкручивание в конфигах, или ядро само
должно поднять ее (как и должно быть по моим скромным пониманиям)?
Система - АЛК-2.3...
