Просто "PS/2" пробовали? И ещё два смешных вопроса:
1. Вы уверены, что мышь воткнута именно в PS/2 порт? (сам знаю, что
глупый вопрос, но кто его знает...)
2. Вы уверены, что редактируете именно тот XF86COnfig, который
используют иксы?
