Зависимые друг от друга пакеты нужно устанавливать одной
командой: rpm -Uvh file1.i586.rpm file2.i586.rpm ...
man rpm
P.S. Про штатный метод обновления я уже написал. Это ПРОЩЕ!
P.P.S. Если дома жалко траффик, но хочется обновляться с помощью
apt-get - он умеет печатать список пакетов для скачивания.
Подробности, как обычно, в man apt-get
