РТФМ. Апту не надо указывать "i586.rpm", Вы же не файл ставите с диска.
И версию указывать не надо, т.к. в данном случае в репозитории есть только
1 пакет. Если бы и надо было указывать версию, то по-другому. В даном
случае надо указывать _только_имя_пакета_.
Откуда Вы вообще взяли, что пакет имеет версию именно 4.0.20-alt1?
