Здравствуйте, здравствуйте, здравствуйте!
Давно интересует один вопрос: можно ли изменить а) цветовую палитру в
консоли (фреймбуфферной) и/или б) раскрасить текст в >16 цветов? Давно
хочу изменить раскраску mc, но имеющиеся в распоряжении цвета меня не
устраивают.

Можно - man console_codes (ESC ] P nrrggbb).

Это не получится - ограничение на 16 цветов там осталось.
