В настоящее время пакеты ядер 2.4.x собираются gcc-2.96, 2.6.x - gcc-3.3.
С gcc 3.4.0 могут быть проблемы - в 2.6.x были патчи к ядру для
исправления сборки этой версией gcc.

Здравствуйте.
Хочу пересобрать ядро (2.6.6).
Есть gcc: 2.96(alt) 3.3.3(alt) 3.4.0(my).
Собственно вопрос, каким компилятором посоветуете компилировать?
Вроде я слышал, что ядро и сам gcc лучше компилировать gcc из ветки
2.9х, хотелось бы развеять сомнения...
