погуглите архивы devel@ по слову system-auth-standart, я писал в марте.
домашнюю директорию создаст модуль pam_mkhomedir. и будет она называться
полным именем юзера:
domain+user (если winbind separator = + ).

и что, даже админский (не рутовый) пароль не спрашивало?
