Давайте просто сравним. У меня ST3120022A, ATA DISK drive,
120034MB) w/2048KiB Cache, UDMA(100) и:
# hdparm -t /dev/hda
/dev/hda:
Timing buffered disk reads: 140 MB in 3.02 seconds =
46.36MB/sec
С тонкими настройками я сюда и не лезу. Зачем? (И процессор не
разгоняю :-).
