Полностью согласен.
Хотя не является ли незаконным (по крайней мере в РФ) продажа таких модемов.
Вот держу коробочку и читаю надписи v.92 и т.д. и ни слова нет (в
документации тоже - там всё про винду), что надо заплатить ещё раз полную
стоимость так называемого "модема" (цена в Москве около 14-15у.е.-лучше уж
Hardware USR цена 31у.е.) .
А это есть прямой обман, а значит нарушение закона.
Интересно как поступит производитель в случае запрещения на этих основаниях
ввоза этого устройства.
