Если серьёзно, то очень аггресивную политику проводит XP (Linux, понятное дело, который на Федоре). Так вот я имею возможность сравнивать: около 4 месяцев на работе стоит XP, два месяца дома использую ALT Compact. IMHO, Compact - лучший дистрибутив, который я видел, по соотношению "(Поддержка железа)*(Доводимость до ума)/Глючность". Compact из Contriba легко (при наличии сети) доводится до уровня рабочей станции
без потери стабильности. XP же, хотя изначально более богат, очень глючен и требует даже не напильника, а рашпиля. В общем, буду переходить на ALT полностью.
