Между делом это снесёт загрузчик Linux, причём далеко не факт, что
поможет. Хотя для w2k обычно прокатывает.

Вовсе необязательно. А при копировании разделов вообще совершенно
наплевать.

Не пугайте человека :-) Всё прекрасно работает. Нет совершенно никакой
проблемы сделать раздел тик в тик такой же, как на источнике.
Достаточно немного внимательности. Гранулярность размера раздела ---
один сектор, а это отнюдь не бит и даже не байт.
