Зачастую оно работает неустойчиво, что ещё хуже, чем 75x75 - по поводу
пляски размеров шрифтов тоже ругани было изрядно.

Кстати, там ещё GNOME мог приложить свою лапу - у него в панели
управления шрифтами торчит собственная установка dpi, которая при
запуске GNOME пишется в Xft.dpi и перекрывает установки X-сервера. Но
там по умолчанию виндообразные 96 dpi.
