mkfs.vfat /dev/sda1 не забыли?
Если да и не работает, то подбросьте, если можно, мне на мыло информацию с
первых двух треков флешки:
dd if=/dev/sda of=dump.bin bs=512 count=124
Чего-й-то я не понимаю. :-\
