Это было сразу понятно.
А вот весь 2-й "вечер" я материл нихрена не документирующих программеров
мелкософта, одним им известный порядок раздачи номеров разделам (был в
практике случай, когда hda1 оказался 3-м в их нумерации, правда, там и
разбиение извращенское было на том винте), ограничение на 8 пунктов в меню
ntldr, малоинформативное сообщение о невозможности загрузить винду с
указанного раздела, необходимость для правки boot.ini каждый раз грузить
линух или 98-ю (которая мимо ntldr поднялась уже в 1-й вечер)... Пока не
понял, что hdb6 - он 3-й и есть, а вот вместо hdb в boot.ini стоит указать
hda :o

Имхо это плохая идея - местно использовать универсальные редакторы
шаблоннов для столь узконаправленной, сложной и всеобъемлющей вещи, как
разбор конфигов.
