rpm-build установлен? Это виртуальный пакет, он должен за собой по
зависимостям всё нужное вытянуть.

Запустить сервис usb, перед этим сказать в /etc/sysconfig/usb STORAGE=yes
потом
mount -t vfat /dev/scd0 /mnt/disk
кажется, так. Я себе дома даже autofs настроил, только работает плохо :)
