Между прочим, не стоило, ибо новая справка (к OOo 1.1) на русский
язык не переведена. IMHO, лучше уж иметь английскую справку, но
актуальную, чем русскую, но устаревшую.

Да человек-то об 1.0.2 пишет. Хотя я не вижу никаких
оснований для того, чтобы эту версию всё еще использовать (уж
под виндой-то во всяком случае).

Я так понимаю, что за все эти пульки отвечает шрифт opens___.ttf.
Его многократно чинили, но, кажется, в 1.1.0 и выше он уже вполне
нормальный.
Вообще, конечно, этот тред следовало бы перенести в
oo-discuss@openoffice.ru.
