А оно нужно? В реальной жизни для экранного отображения всё равно
хватает четырех шрифтов, т. е. Times, Helvetica и Courier. Fixed
не в счет, ибо многоязычная версия есть в стандартной поставке
иксов. Ну а для других целей растровые шрифты не нужны.

Возможно... Но так ли это важно? Скажите, Вам нужна *в иксах* koi8-r
со всей псевдографикой, которую и в консоли-то в таком виде используют
лишь отдельные энтузиасты? А мне так вполне достаточно иметь только
шрифты в koi8-u, ибо там есть всё то же + украинские буквы. Ну а
cp1251 там правильная и меня вполне устраивает.
