Use APT, Luke.
Командой apt-cache showpkg 'aclocal(libtool)' можно узнать, что жтот
виртуальный пакет предоставляется всеми версиями automake, а с командой
apt-get install libtool_1.5 можно вообще не задумываться над такими
вопросами.
