У меня есть два варианта межсетевого экрана
/etc/sysconfig/iptables, а именно iptables.ppp и iptables.eth1.
Последний я приготовил совсем недавно без всяких затей строго по
тексту Iptables Tutorial 1.1.19 из rc.firewall.txt. Переключение
с рухнувшей ethernet-сети nline.ru на dial-up занимает у меня
чуть больше минуты. Копирую iptables.ppp в iptables, набираю
service iptables restart и отключаю роутер по умолчанию. Всё,
можно звонить. Есть решения и посложнее, но этого вполне
достаточно.
Очень советую обратиться к этому руководству. Приведённых там
типовых конфигураций вполне достаточно.
