У кого-нибудь есть старая исашная звуковуха Gravis UltraSound MAX. В своё
время это был профессиональный монстр. Выглядит конечно впечатляюще
(гигантские размеры). Так вот подарили мне эту штуку, и я решил заменить свою
pci creative compact (модуль называется snd-ens1371). Хочу посмотреть, может
старая звуковая карта будет лучше играть.
Ядро 2.6.5. Лезу в menuconfig. Включаю модуль alsa/isa/Gravis UltraSound MAX
Загружаюсь.
# modprobe snd-gusmax
# lsmod

Покрутил микшер. Ползунки на максимуме.
А звук не играет. Причём такое ощущение, что и не собирается - xmms, например,
ползунок стоит на одном месте. mpg123 тоже не хочет работать. На сколько я
помню, там при проигрывании должны цифры бежать, а их нет. Просто стоит и
ничего не делает.
Куда копать?
