не надо - при размонтировании кэши смонтированного раздела сбрасываются
автоматически.
По повоеду регистраии и де-регистрации, на примере диска /dev/hdb
отрегестрируем
#hdparm -U /dev/hdb
ждем немного ж-)
регистрируем заново
#hdparm -R /dev/hdb
Можно еще сделать резет диску
#hdparm -w /dev/hdc
Перед операцией естественно все сохраняем и все такое
все делается под рутом, все операции расцениваются как ОПАСНЫЕ
