Это означает, что для загрузки ядра (которое, вероятно, не попадает на
диске в пресловутую границу в 8 Гб) lilo будет использовать функции
расширенного биоса (т.н. int13ext), хотя в конфигурационном файле нет
соответствующей директивы, разрешающей такое поведение (lba32, man
lilo.conf)

Нет. Если ядро грузится (то есть, этот самый int13ext есть и работает,
что является нормой для всех современных биосов), то причин беспокоиться
нет. Но если очень страшно, то почитайте документацию на lilo.conf.
