Не отчаивайтесь!
Насколько я помню, устанавливал lexmark следующим образом (пострадает CUPS).
1 - снести капс
2 - снести все имеющиеся системы печати
3 - начать устанавливать дрова от производителя
4 - установить ВСЕ барахло, что они требуют
5 - для установки барахла придется искать на рпм-поисковиках древние пакеты.
6 - попробовать установить
7 - попробовать напечатать
8 - если не получится, то писать сюда
