Прошу прощения за дубль. Нечаянно получилось.
Насчет груп юзера:
$ id
uid=500(gosha) gid=500(gosha)
группы=500(gosha),19(proc),22(cdrom),80(cdwriter),
81(audio),83(radio),107(camera)
