Поставил DCOM98
Запускаем setup.exe
Вылетает окно с сообщением об ошибке:
Setup is unable to find _SETUP.DLL, which is needed to
complete the installation.
Error 103
хотя этот файл присутствует в текущей директории.
И всё.

а мы сделаем по другому:
у меня тоже такое было, проблему вычислил:
каталог с диском1 назывался disk1_sql > 8 символов. его переименовал в просто
disk1. весь каталог назывался 1crel21_sql - >8символов.
то бишь какой-то каталог в пути больше 8 символов. переименовал и библиотека
сразу нашлась. а дело тут не в wine, потому что этот глюк и под виндами.
