При выключении появляется надпись:
Stopping CUPS service: start-stop-daemon: --signal takes a
numeric argument
Try `start-stop-daemon --help' for more information.
Где подкрутить и исправить этот самый numeric argument? Не
критично, конечно - принтер печатает, но всё-же.

Это явно Sisyphus или Compact. Можете повесить багу с указанием
версии cups?

rpm -q cups даёт следующий ответ: cups-1.1.18-alt8
А как "повесить багу"? Я бы с удовольствием :-)

У меня такое было с биндом9
Вылечилось обновлением из сизифа пакета к которому принадлежит файл start-stop-daemon
Не помню как называется.
