только что у себя проводил такие эксперименты.. на IDE RAID HPT372 (два винта
RAID 1 )
с драйвером hptraid - полная туфта, и сам драйвер говорит про software raid
...
после отключения одного винта, загрузки со второго и подключения первого пошли
глюки с разрушенной файловой системой... при этом сам raid говорил, что он в
порядке.
с драйвером hpt37x2 (от производителя, включает закрытый код) после той же
операции биосная утилита сказала RAID is Critical, Duplicate ?
на данный момент синхронизировал 6% ...
в случае с первым драйвером пришлось потерять всю систему, благо она была
тестовой ;)
